Upon your arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, our driver will greet you to begin your adventure in the renowned Serengeti National Park, famously known as "The Endless Plain". This park is celebrated for its abundant resident wildlife, including the iconic “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serengeti is home to approximately 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that migrate alongside the wildebeests in search of fresh grazing grounds. Experience the thrilling sound of over 6 million hooves thundering across the Serengeti’s vast plains, just as you’ve always imagined African wildlife. After a day of exploration, you’ll head to your accommodation at the land of nature camp for a relaxing evening and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti. In addition to the majestic large mammals, you’ll encounter vibrant agama lizards and rock hyraxes darting around the park’s isolated granite kopjes. The Serengeti also hosts a diverse array of dung beetles and is home to approximately 500 bird species. From the impressive ostrich and the unique secretary bird of the open grasslands to the soaring black eagles above the Lobo Hills, there’s plenty to observe. In the evening, you’ll return to the camp for some leisure time and an overnight stay at the land of nature camp.
In the morning, you’ll embark on a game drive through Serengeti National Park before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, we’ll make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we’ll descend 600 meters into this breathtaking caldera for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. With its year-round water supply and ample fodder, the crater supports a wide variety of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The park is also famous for its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards, which can be difficult to spot.
Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its diverse landscape. The park is especially famous for its ancient baobab trees and boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the country. It offers unique opportunities to observe the interactions among elephant families. We’ll embark on a game drive through the park, adjusting our route based on recent animal sightings. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be elusive, but herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are plentiful throughout the park. Afterward, you’ll leave the park and head to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Reserve your ideal trip early for a hassle-free trip; secure comfort and convenience!
