Tour Plan
Day 1 Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha early in the morning and transferred to the Tarangire National Park to start off your game-viewing experience. This magnificent park is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and a variety of bird species. Not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. After your tour and adventure around the park, you will be transferred to the Fig Tree Lodge where you will be spending the night. A good, comfortable and lovely place is where you want to be
Day 2 Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
You will be picked up early in the morning from your lodge and driven to the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we will stop for a view of the crater before continuing on. We will arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and then go on with the game drive in the Seronera area of the park. We will drive until late in the evening, all while keeping an eye out for wild animals and taking in the sunset. Later, proceed to your accommodation inside the park.
After full-day game drives, you will have dinner and your overnight stay at Seronera Campsite. It’s located at Central Serengeti, one of the premium accommodations inside the park. Your accommodation depend on the package you have chosen.
Day 3 Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, we'll head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we'll descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
We'll head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park as you head to the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite where you shall have dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater
You will depart the camp/ lodge early in the morning and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of Africa.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. After your morning 6 hours game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the hippo pool picnic site. Afterwards, you'll travel to Arusha.
